Photography Exhibition in St Louis Examines Veteran Homelessness
A former Drill Sergeant turned professional photographer, Jerry Tovo, uses his passion for photography and the veteran community to document the faces of veteran homelessness during St. Louis exhibition.
The exhibition began March 30th and lasted through July 2nd. His photography was on display at the International Hall of Fame and Museum in St. Louis, MO in an exhibition entitled “IN THE FACES OF PATRIOTISM: THE HOMELESS VETERANS PROJECT”.
I discovered this exhibition through the program St. Louis on the Air w/Sarah Fenske. Listen as he walks through the struggles and lessons he learned trying to bring awareness to the problem of Veteran homelessness while utilizing his experience, passion, and talent.
