I was in the 1st Infantry Division from 1974 to 1976. I was stationed at Panzer Kaserne in Böblingen Germany.
I entered the Army with the MOS of 11B10 (Infantry). After AIT my MOS was changed… unrequested, to 11E10 (Armor).
My question is… does anyone know what Tank Division, Battalion or Brigade was at Panzer Kaserne in 1975?

The 1ID/4 BN/73rd Armor Division was at Panzer Kaserne during the entire Cold War (March 12 1947 – December 26, 1991) from what I could find online.

They mostly post about tanks and stuff from their time in service from what I was able to see after checking it out this afternoon.
You never know, you might just run into someone you know or at least someone whom you shared some of the same experiences with while stationed at Panzer Kaserne.

Otherwise, the rest of the information out there is pretty sparse for the Armor Division you’re looking for although, I did find a mention of them on Wikipedia’s page about the 73rd Cavalry Regiment.
