How to Find Your Disability Compensation Rate

Charles from the Army writes:

Where can I find my current disability monthly compensation at?

Hey Charles,

You can find the compensation for your disability rating through the Department of Veterans Affairs website.

The specific page I believe you are looking for is: Disability Compensation Rates.

https://www.va.gov/disability/compensation-rates/veteran-rates/

On this page you will find compensation for disability ratings effective December 1, 2021 until at least the time of my post here.

Something to keep in mind is the section of small print that defines what percentage of disability will bring higher rates to those who have dependent spouses, children, or parents. The note reads:

Note: If you have a 10% to 20% disability rating, you won’t receive a higher rate even if you have a dependent spouse, child, or parent.

The next sections are broken down into those with dependents with or without children that have a 30% or greater rating.

Hope that helps and thanks for writing in,
